Decision Mappings

A DAS Custom system gives you the ability to write whatever policies you want to satisfy all types of use cases. The decisions that OPA makes are, like for all systems, recorded in the DAS decision log. For most system-types, the DAS knows the format of the decisions. For example, whether the decision represents an allow or a deny decision type. Therefore, the DAS has no knowledge of what a decision log entry means for your Custom systems.

For Custom systems, you can configure the DAS so that it understands the decision log format to display and search decisions accurately. For more information on configuring decision logs, see the Decision Log Configuration page.

For a Custom system, per package Decision Mapping is done at the system level.
