Custom System Decision Mappings

A Styra DAS Custom System allows you to write policies to satisfy all types of use cases. The decisions that OPA makes are recorded in the Styra DAS decision log. For most System types, Styra DAS knows the format of the decisions. For example, whether the decision represents an allow or a deny decision type. Therefore, Styra DAS has no knowledge of what a decision log entry means for your Custom System.

For Custom Systems, you can configure Styra DAS to understand the decision log format to display and search decisions accurately.
