Envoy Version Management

Envoy Version Management is used to update or roll back an Envoy System or a Stack between Styra DAS Envoy 2.0 and Envoy 2.1.

The following guidelines are used to update or roll back an Envoy System or Stack:

• A System version cannot be lower than its corresponding Stack version.
• To upgrade a corresponding System and a Stack, upgrade the System and then the Stack.
• If a rollback is required for a corresponding System and Stack, roll back the Stack and then the System.
