New Features and Enhancements
This section describes the new features and enhancements in Styra DAS On-premises 0.5.4.
- Starting with release, the JSON request body is added to User Activity log for DAS configuration changes. The feature flag
ACTIVITY_GC_HISTORYis also added to the extend log capture period to four weeks. The online API activity API is also updated in this release.
- This release provides API/CLI support for mocking
Git data source plugin will now use the
HTTP_PROXYsettings from the environment.
This release introduces the Git test connection feature which tests the Git configuration for systems, stacks, and workspace before saving them.
This release introduces a new Quick Start landing page or dialog that shows all the currently available Quick Starts.
This release allows users to now copy the input of each decision from the decision log.
Decisions can now be streamed from DAS to a remote S3 bucket.

This section describes the issues fixed in Styra DAS On-premises 0.5.4.
Fixed a bug where the Workspace configuration could not be saved because of an erroneous Git conflict.
System delete behavior was modified to not wipe out the associated Git secret if it is not system-specific.
Fixed an issue for incorrect display of data sources or policies that had dots in their names.
This release introduced a change that restored support to run the compliance validation on user-created monitor policy for Custom systems.
Fixed an issue where decisions made on systems with coarse-resolution clocks show up as
Missing latency. These decisions now accurately show that their latency is
less than one millisecond.
