Styra makes it possible for enterprises to implement policy-as-code controls and to prove their effectiveness to both internal and external security and compliance audiences.

New Features and Enhancements

Security

• Signature support for Git datasource and bundle downloads: This release includes limited support for OPA digital signatures to provide end-to-end policy and data integrity. The signatures are imported from Git and included in the downloaded bundles for OPA to verify.

Storage

• Upgrade the API version for validating and mutating webhooks: In order to generate the deprecated v1beta1 version of the webhook configurations, the Kubernetes version of the system must be set to a version number that is less than 1.16.0. This release upgrades the webhook API version to conform to apiVersion: admissionregistration.k8s.io/v1 by default.
